Extremely good service would highly recommend

This carriage tour was amazing! I would highly recommend this company. Our driver was so knowledgeable and spoke clearly and you could tell he cared about the history lesson he was giving and the horses. We were the last carriage ride for the day since the temperatures were heating up at 12:25. I'm so thankful they do this for the horses. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone thinking of doing a carriage tour, or any tour around Charleston for that matter.

Wonderful tour of Charleston today by Marion, the horse, and his driver. John set us up with a tour soon after we approached the carriages, and the driver was very knowledgeable of Charleston history with a great blend of facts and humor told from his local background. My teen daughter enjoyed the tour, as well, and loved petting Marion after we returned to the barn and learned how the horses are protected and well-cared for as they serve the city and its visitors. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon touring one of our favorite cities and its most special sites! We wouldn’t use another company - Carolina Polo and Carriage is the best!

We had an amazing tour with Richard and Ironsides. Richard was very knowledgeable and told great stories. He also answered all our questions. The nice thing is he also explained how they look after all their horses and provide them with a comfortable life outside of the touring. Highly recommend!!

We had such a great time tonight with this company. We decided to go last minute and ended up getting lucky and we were all by ourselves with Daniel. Even though the carriage was only us and our four children, Daniel treated us so great and He was so knowledgeable. He told us all about Charleston and could answer any question we threw his way. He was great with our kids. They had a wonderful time. We feel very fortunate that we stumbled across this company and got a chance to go on their carriage ride tonight. Thank you Daniel for making our day in Charleston. Also, the fact they didn’t ask for us to give them a review, nor did Daniel even ask for a tip (we gave him one anyways) made me want to come here and give them a five star review. It was just a great experience. We really enjoyed it.

Michael at Carolina Polo & Carriage was AWESOME. My sister and I arrived to sign up for the 1:30 ride on May 26. When we were told the pickup was at the market we kinda grumbled because my sister uses a cane and wasn’t up to walking over there. Michael kindly contacted our driver to deviate and pick us up at the office. We were very grateful! Our driver Caroline was great. She was funny and witty and I learned so much more about Charleston that I need to come back and do some more exploring. Thank you for a great day in Charleston!

The tour was both historically educational and entertaining from start to finish. Marion, our beautiful horse, was gentle, well cared for, and added so much charm to the experience. We especially loved learning about the history and architecture throughout the city, along with seeing the stunning outside spaces and gardens along the route. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Charleston and wanting a relaxing, informative, and memorable tour experience!

Wonderful tour with Carolina Polo. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. This tour is a definite must and the horse drawn carriage was so fun. Carolina Polo matches the groupon pricing so call them first, before buying a groupon.

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Jennifer was exceptional and very knowledgeable. One thing we didn't know was that a city official randomize the routes (there are 4 different routes) so the various carriage companies don't create a traffic jam. We will take the tour again in the hopes to see something different.

Bumped into John on a walk, he’s such a friendly and fun guy I had to say yes to a carriage tour. Eric was incredible fun and knowledgeable, shared information in ways that everyone understood. I would absolutely recommend getting a tour with these guys!! I’ll be back to see y’all again soon

This was a great experience! Our guide Caroline and her assistant Grey-man will be the reason for our return. Grey-man was a beautiful and sweetheart of a horse. Caroline was just as sweet, funny and informative. This was a great way for us to end our weekend trip in Charleston!
